Additional Procedures Introduction - 1

Introduction

The “Adjusting the Degaussing Coils” procedure describes

the proper position of the degaussing coils in relation to the

CRT corners and the canceling coil.

Follow this procedure whenever you take apart or

reassemble a unit.

Important:

To maximize performance of the Apple Multiple

Scan 1705 Display, the degaussing coils must

• Remain securely attached to the corners of the CRT

• Remain at least 1.25 inches (30 mm) from the bottom

canceling coil on the yoke of the CRT
