Replacement Instructions

The following instructions explain how to replace the DC-in board in the PowerBook G4

(1GHz/867MHz) computer.

Tools

• Black stick (nylon probe tool 922-5065) or other ESD-safe, non-marring tool

• Torx T6 screwdriver

Preliminary Steps

Before you begin, remove the following:

• Battery

• Bottom case
