Creating a Login Greeting for AFP Service

The login greeting is a message users see when they log in to the server.

To create a login greeting:

1 Open Server Admin and connect to the server.

2 Click the triangle at the left of the server.

The list of services appears.

3 From the expanded Servers list, select AFP.

4 Click Settings, then click General.

5 In the Login Greeting eld, enter a message.

If you change the message, users see the new message the next time they connect

to the server.

6 To prevent users from seeing the message more than once, select “Do not send same

greeting twice to the same user.”

7 Click Save.
