2 Remove the plastic

retainer bar.

Note:

The daughterboard

is connected to the

motherboard below the

RAM card connector.

Caution:

You may have

to use some force to

disconnect the daughter-

board. Use an IC

extractor, as illustrated.

Do not pry up the board

with a screwdriver.

Place the legs of the IC

extractor in the notches

at the end of the daugh-

terboard and pull up.
