Previewing Subtitles in the Simulator

After you have positioned and modified your subtitles it’s always a good idea

to preview them for alignment and timing.

1 Control-click in the Track Editor and choose Simulate from Track from

the pop-up menu.

The Simulator opens and plays the track.

2 Click the View box just below the Subtitle Select pop-up menu.

The subtitle will now be visible in the Simulator. Your track has probably

played past the subtitle you created and you’ll have to navigate back to the

beginning of your track.

3 Click the Chapter Skip Reverse button until you reach the first chapter

marker at the beginning of your project.

The subtitle will now appear in the Simulator.

Subtitles can be repositioned in a track and adjusted in length.

They can also be imported from a text file.
