Stop

You click the Stop button to stop playing a disc and reset the track

number to 1. You can also press the Clear or Delete key to stop

playing a disc.

Play/Pause

You click the Play/Pause button to start playing a disc. You click

the Play/Pause button again to stop without losing your place on

the disc. To resume playing the current track, you click the

Play/Pause button again.

You can also press the spacebar, the Return key, or the Enter key

to play or pause the current track.

Next and Previous Track

You click the Track button that has right arrows to move forward

one track. (After you reach the last track on the disc, the button

moves you again to the first track on the disc.)

You click the Track button that has left arrows to move backward

one track. (After you reach the first track on the disc, the button

moves you again to the last track on the disc.)

You can also press the Left and Right Arrow keys to select the next

or previous track.

Volume

You can use the volume control on the player to adjust the

volume from the built-in speaker, headphones, or speakers

attached to the computer. Drag the slider to the right to increase

volume, or to the left to decrease volume.

You can also press the Up and Down Arrow keys to increase or

decrease the volume.

v Note: You can also control the volume of your audio CDs or

audio sound on your CD-ROM discs by using the sound

control buttons on the front of your Macintosh LC 520. v

Eject

To eject a disc, click the Eject button on the player or drag the disc

icon to the Trash. The disc icon disappears from the desktop.

You can also choose Eject CD from the File menu or press

Command-E to eject a disc.
