I can’t read the names of files and folders.
If you have enter ed Chinese characters for the na

es of les and folde rs, the font selected
for views is not a Chinese ch aracter font. For infor

Dates and times are not displayed as Chinese dates and times.

hen you install the Chinese

anguage Kit, the pri

ary script doesnt change and it

puter. Although so

e applications use
the Chinese for

ats for dates and ti
m
es t hat are dened by the Chinese scripts, others use
those dene d by the pri

ary script.
If you have Mac

8 or later installed on your co
m
puter, you can display th e day of the week
in Chinese using one of the fonts provided with the Chinese
L
anguage Kit. To do so, open
the
D
ate & Ti
m
e control panel and click Clock
O
ptions. In the dialog box th at appears, select
the
S
how day o f the week
checkbox and choose a Chinese font fro
m
th e Font
S
etting pop-
up
m
enu.
Choosing Edit Dictionary using the Traditional Chinese Input Method does not
open the Traditional Chinese Dictionary Tool application.
The application is not located in the Extensions folder
(
in the
S
yste
m
Folder
)
. To use the
Traditional Chines e
D
iction ary Tool application, drag it to the
S
yste
m
Folder and click
O
K in
the dialog box that appears to place it in the Extensions folder. Then restart your co
m
puter.
